I was so looking forward to these Colour Lip Balms from Catrice, that I had to buy it. And I don't regret it, because they are the perfect lip product for these drying sunny days ;).
I bought only two shades. I wanted to buy all of them, because they just looked so pretty. I have to say I was a bit surprised by the price. For 5,19 € you get 2.5 g of product. I don't know if I am getting cheap, but I thought that they could have been cheaper. I guess I am being weird.
But that is why I only bought the shades 070 I Don't Red It and 050 Cherry-ty. I Don't Red It is a red color with warm almost a bit orange undertone. For me the perfect red lip color. Cherry-ty is that sort of raspberry pink with cool blue undertone. I Don't Red It has a kind of weird smell-smells like something chemical-but the smell is very light, so it shouldn't bother anyone. However, Cherry-ty, has a more sweet smell to it. But both smells are barley noticeable, so that's good.

The lip balm is extremely easy to use. It looks like a giant pencil. In order to get more product you just twist the bottom. Only thing I don't like, the bottom part that twists gets loose when you twist it a bit more. It won't fall off, it just feels looser.
The packaging is a nice sleek plastic which is the same color as the lip balm. The top and the twisting bottom is silver and to me it looks very clean and nice design. It'a also very practical to carry around. I think that they copied the look after the Clinique Chubby Sticks.
The color range is great. I think anyone can find a color for themselves. I saw Bourjois also has Colour Boost Lip Crayons and I didn't like the range of colors at all. Just peach and pinks.
To sum it up: very shiny, very moisturizing, easy to use, nice range of colors.
I love the formula, love the colors and I especially love the moisturizing feeling on the lips. I just wish I had them, when I was on holidays, because this would be the perfect lip product to put on for a night out, to give sun dried lips a break and still have some color on.
Do you own any pencil lip balms? How do you like them?
