New In (14)

Here is the second part of my New In posts. I mostly feature products that I got for my birthday and even some that I ordered back in December. There are no products from PR brands and I give you a little short review of everything I have tried so far.

Afrodita Cosmetics LE Vanilla Passion Gift Set

I've actually been eyeing this in the store and my cousin knew that and got it for me. It's a limited edition gift set with a limited edition packaging that I adore. The design is just so clean and classy looking. I'm already using both. Shower gel is that typical transparent gel that cleans and leathers well. I also love nourishing body milk, because it looks like a lighter cream, but once you massage it into the skin, it leaves behind nourishing almost buttery feel to it. However it sinks in and looks like there's nothing on the skin. It has a soft vanilla scent that isn't too sweet or overpowering. It's actually fairly soothing.

Palmolive Coconut Joy Body Butter

I already used this one up and it was such a good shower gel. Palmolive gels in general have this nourishing feel to them and this one is like a pudding consistency, but it doesn't feel as drying as normal shower gels. The butter in it really makes it less drying and more comfortable on the skin. Scent is unfortunately not a proper coconut, but a more artificial version of it, although I still liked it very much. I would definitely buy this again.

White Tea Bath Salt

How cute is this? I'm a sucker for product like that. Taking long baths would be in my description of hobbies and I usually do it with bubble baths, but never with bath salts. Until now. I already tried it out once and liked it. It doesn't add any effect to your water other than a slight sleepy refreshing soothing scent. Plus it's so satisfying to use that tiny spoon to scoop it out. Adorable gift for anyone that likes to pamper.

This is a repurchase. I've almost finishes my first pot of this beauty - only have a bit of the outer edge left to finish. It's my favorite bronzer, because it feels so buttery due to the murumuru butter. Shade Bronzer is also a bit cool toned which makes it great for adding definition and it's light enough for a light skin tone. But it's also not too cool, still has that proper sunkissed warmth to it. I adore it. You can read my review of it here

Colourpop Yes, Please! Pressed Powder Shadow Palette

This is warm toned lovers dream. It has a mix of matte and shimmery shades with light to dark colors. There is a lot of neutral tones that you can wear on everyday basis, but than you also have really potent pops of colors. The quality is amazing, super pigmented and I'll have a review up very soon.

Colourpop She Pressed Powder Shadow Palette

This was apparently a limited edition palette or so it seems, since I've been looking for it and it's discontinued. A damn shame, because this is so good. I almost like it more than Yes, Please! and I love warm tones. This is for those that love pinks an mauves. Again a great selection of shimmery and matte shades. You can create a subtle look or a more punchier filled with lots of color. Quality is also amazing. I was confused by the fact that they don't sell it anymore, but I'm still thinking of posting the review, because I love the looks I created with it. Anyway, I've seen it being sold on Ebay too.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadows - Game Face, Birthday Girl and DGAF

I already posted a review of these here. It's one of my favorite eyeshadow formula, because it's almost like a cream, applies lovely and sets like a powder.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip - Aquarius and Screenshots

I only tried one Ultra Satin Lip before and it was Frick N' Frack. I liked the formula and didn't find it too drying, so I decided that I'll order some more, when I'll be ordering eyeshadows from Colourpop. It helped that they had sale on their lip products. Aquarius is the most perfect nude. It has a mix of pink, brown and even some warm peach to it. It will suits many different skin tones and it also looks amazing on light skin. Screenshots is that perfect brick brown shade that is also fairly light, but a warmer version for when you want something more subtle. I'll have a separate review of these on the blog.

Afrodita Cosmetics Jojoba Oil & Shea Butter Body Milk

I'm not using it yet, but I did try it out once. It's a thicker white cream that gives your skin glow and leaves a slightly greasy finish on the skin. It's much thicker and heavier than the LE version. The scent is somewhat oriental, but actually very subtle.

Astrid surprised me with a huge package of makeup and sweets for Christmas and my birthday. She is just the sweetest and may I add, has an amazing taste for makeup. Thank you so much Astrid.

Urban Decay The Ultimate Pair - 1993

I only tried eyeshadow primer by Urban Decay, but I've always wanted to try more from this brand. I hear Urban Decay is also coming to Slovenia now, for those that are interested in this brand too. This is a set of their 24/7 glide-on lip pencil and vice lipstick, both in shade 1993 which is a medium brown. It's that perfect chocolate brown color that isn't too dark. Lip pencil has a smooth creamy formul as well as lipstick. They both feel comfortable on the lips. Lipstick has what they call comfort matte finish and it's definitely comfortable. I'll have a separate review on the blog.

Feelunique Bourjois Christmas Cracker

These products came in a cute mint colored Feelunique Christmas cracker. My first cracker ever and may I say a cracker after my own heart. In it was Volume Reveal Waterproof Mascara which I haven't tried yet. I've had some mascaras by Bourjois before and they were all very descent. In it was also Khol & Contour Extra-Long Wear Eye Pencil in 002 Ultra Black which I also haven't tried yet, but it seems to be fairly creamy. I've also already had some Rouge Edition Velvets before and now I've added a new shade to the range - 11 So Hap'pink. These are a bit drying on my lips, so I usually reserve them for good lip days. This one is that perfect vibrant, but still muted pink.

I have however already tried their Blush in 33 Golden Lilac. First of all this has such a lovely scent. It smells sort of fruity and powdery at the same time. It has baked texture that actually deposits a lot of color. Shade is a mix of brick peach and pink color with golden shimmer. I adore it and it's so cute packaged.

Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick - 02 Flaming'rose

I absolutely adore the formula of these (read about it here) and already own two shades, so I was ecstatic to get another shade. It's that perfect tone of pink that I like (because I usually don't go for pinks often), muted, brown based and very wearable. It has the most perfect matte finish, smooth formula and doesn't feel drying on the lips.

Kiko Arctic Holiday Lips & Nails Kit - 02 Breathtaking Red

I haven't actually tried any of these yet, but they look gorgeous. Nail polish has that perfect classic red shade with slightly wider brush. In the set is also liquid lipstick that dries down to a perfect matte finish and it has the most gorgeous cool pink red shade ever. This looks like such a stunner, so I can't wait to try it out. I've had problems with dry lips, so I've been avoiding matte formulas for a while.

Body & Soul Wellness Orchid and Brazilian Nut Set

In the set is a squeeze tube shower gel and body lotion with a pump. It has an oriental floral scent to it which seems lovely. I haven't tried them out yet.

Essence Contouring Eyeshadow Set - 02 Brownies With Frosting

This seems like that perfect easy eye look for when you're in a hurry. One side has a shimmery beige shade with slight pink sheen to ti and on the other side is a cool grey based brown. I was thinking of using this side as a face contour, but it might be too dark for me.

Essence Eyeliner Pen Extra Longlasting

It's that typical pen eyeliner that is very liquid and looks like a marker. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet, but on the hand it seems fairly saturated, but not super pigmented.

Body & Soul Silicon Sponge

I've been avoiding these silicon sponges, because I don't think this will work. It seems to just push the product on each side of the face, but I haven't tried it yet. I definitely will, just to see what it feels like.

Essence Good Girl Nail Sticker

I love the look of these nail sticker, I just wish I would remember to use them. There is still some of them left in my drawer and I keep on forgetting about them. These have cute flowers, butterflies and hearts on them with little silver rhinestones. Super cute.

Bonjour Glass Jar

I am also a sucker for any cute kitchen wear or home decor and I think this is adorable. A little small for my preference of glasses to drink out of, but still cute. I see myself using this in the summer and posting Instagram pictures with it.

Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter - Liquid Champagne

I had this on my wishlist and my friend Sabina so kindly got it for me. I've tried it only once and it didn't seem to blend out well, so there was a definite line where I applied it. I can't really say, if that is my fault or the texture. But it's a liquid highlighter with a more greasy base. It has metallic champagne sheen and lots of multi-colored shimmer particles. I would only use this as a highlighter and not mix it with foundation, because it's too glittery for that. The shade is actually just as I expected it to be.

Laceup Shoe Accesories

I wasn't even aware of this satin shoe lace hype that is apparently popular, but I love these. They have that wrapping paper look to them and would probably make a gorgeous bow on those crisp white sneakers. Pale taupe shade makes it look ultra classy and I can't wait to put them on my spring/summer sneakers. I'm just afraid of getting them dirty, because they look so cute.

Fairy Lights

Who can say no to fairly lights? I have two sets already and don't mind getting another one. I just need to find the right place where to put them. These work on two AA batteries and look so romantic on any surface.

DM Profissimo Cookie Stamp Set

Sabina also knows I love to bake and I actually have two of these cookie stamps already, but not with those cute Christmas designs. Plus there is even a cookie cutter in the pack, so it makes it easier to cut out the perfect shape for the stamp. I love these, because they add some fun to otherwise boring round cookies. I also got a spatula, which will definitely come in handy.

Review: Catrice LE Blush Flush Ombre Blush Palette - C02 Vibrant Pink

Newest Catrice Limited Edition is called Blush Flush and it's all about the blush, which will be one of the most popular products this year. You might have heard about draping. It's a technique in which you use blush to sculpt out your cheeks. Basically, think of the 80s when my mom didn't know what bronzer or contour is and she used blush to contour with. It's the same principal with this year's hottest trend. Catrice jumped on the trend wagon and got a whole limited edition of blush products to help you out. I got their Ombre Blush Palette in shade C02 Vibrant Pink to test out.

Packaging

The palette comes in a black plastic packaging with this fun design that interacts with you depending on how you tilt the palette. It reminds me of those small cards that you got in candy in the 90s. I tried to capture different looks that change among the angle when you turn the packaging. Design looks like a cool slow motion explosion of pink and orange powders. Really pretty and unique.

It also has a mirror on the top which is actually very practical. I did my whole eye makeup look in it when I wasn't as home. It's also great for touch ups or to travel with.

In it is 17.6 grams of product and it costs 5.69€.

Colors

You can choose among two different color schemes. C01 Blurred Orange is a more orange ombre and C01 Vibrant Pink is a pink ombre. Catrice says to choose the palette based on your skin's undertone. So you would use Vibrant Pink, if you have cool undertone and Blurred Orange, if you have warm under tone. I say go for which you like. There are no rules in makeup. But I have to say I am considering buying the other version, because I like this one so much. Blurred Orange has more of my preferred warm tones in it.

You can get almost unlimited amount of shades out of this one ombre palette, because you can mix and match which ever shades you like. I swatched about 5 different shades going from left to right in the palette.

From left to right:
1 - pale cool shimmery baby pink. It has silver sheen to it and can be used as a highlighter or as a highlighting topper for the cheeks.
2 - light cool pink. This is that classic cool pink that gives you that flush, like you've been out in the cold for too long.
3 - medium warm fuchsia pink. This is a darker version of shade 2 and it's already leaning on a warmer side. It's a fairly strong pop of color, great for when you really want your cheeks to pop out.
4 - medium warm brick pink. This is probably the closest to my taste, because it has that brownish brick muddy base to it, but it's still pink. It's slightly darker than shade 3 and is one of those shades that you can use for draping as they call it now - sculpting the cheeks with blush, because it's not too bright.
5 - darker medium warm brown. Now this can actually be used as a bronzer, if you have warm skin tone. It's warm and leans slightly peachy, but it's also a great shade to contour your cheeks with - not contour in a grey shade kind of way, but to rather sculpt them out, if you don't want to use a separate bronzer.

Shade 1 is the only shade that has the most intense cool sheen to it and can be used as a highlighter. Shade 2 is also slightly more glowy with a nice sheen. Shade 3 is the most matte out of all of these and therefore can look a bit chalky, so you have to bend it well. Shade 4 has again a bit of satin sheen to it, but just barely there, it just looks a bit more wearable and not too flat. Shade 5 also has a bit of that healthy sheen to it, but no visible shimmer.

It's a very versatile palette, because you get so many blush, bronzer and even highlighting shades in just one palette.

I wanted to show you how I would use this palette to sculpt out the cheeks. I've even documented all the steps. First photo from the left is me with only foundation and powder. Then I used shade 5 or the bronzing shade to sculpt out under my cheek bone and use it almost as a contour. I used shade 3 as the pop of color on apples of my cheek. At the end I used shade 1 as a highlighter on the highest point of the cheek and a bit closer to my nose to make the cheeks stand out even more.

Formula

It has a slightly wetter formula. Shades have really good pigmentation. For my personal taste, they are event too pigmented, because I like a subtle blush. It means you have to use fluffy brush with it in order to not overdo it. It really is very pigmented. I had a bit of problem with blending out shade 3 which is the most matte and chalky looking, but just build it up slowly. Other shades blend well. Just keep in mind, you barely have to touch the palette to get the color.

Performance

These shades stay on my cheeks for the whole day and I don't even see them loosing intensity. It's a very long lasting formula and you definitely don't need any touch-ups with it. But then again, I never have problems with blush fading too much.

I have to point out that my camera makes it look like I have no blush on, or that it's really subtle, but it's actually very pigmented and bright in person.

Finished result

From left to right: Before and After

I think this is a very versatile palette. You get at least 5 different shades of blush in one palette which you can mix and match. You can also use it to bronze and highlight with. Mirror is a plus. Formula is fairly buttery and it mostly blends out well - the matte shades can be a bit tricky. Pigmentation is crazy and almost too much for my personal taste, but you can play it down by using a light hand and fluffy brush. I think this is well worth the price. Quality is amazing, you get a lot of shades and it lasts well on the skin. I am already regretting not getting shade C01 Blurred Orange. I'm hoping I'll still catch it in one of the stores.

In Slovenia you can buy this LE in Tuš drogerija, DM, Müller, Mercator hipermarket, Interspar Citypark Ljubljana, drogerija Ilirika and Leclerc Maribor. It is on their stand from 24th of January 2018.

New In (13)

In the past couple of months I've accumulated a lot of new products. You know...PR products, Christmas, my birthday...so I decided to split these in a few New In posts. This is the first one. Here I mostly feature products that I got in December as either gift or from other makeup brands.

Essence Cosmetics 15 Years Gift Set*

Essence Cosmetics has celebrated 15 years last year and I got a cute little gift set from their PR. These products are not for sale, so I'll just go through them quickly.

Metallic Cosmetic Bag*

It has that gorgeous copper metallic design, soft faux leather, great zipper and it even reflects holographic colors. I absolutely adore it. It's the perfect size to throw in the bag for on the go.

Essence Be My Highlight Eyeshadow Palette*

This is palette of four shades that can be used as highlighting shades all over the face. It comes in a cardboard packaging and even has a mirror in the shape of a diamond. The packaging is really cute.

All the shades are shimmery and you get a variety of silver blue sheen, pink sheen with lots of small white glitters, lavender blue sheen and golden green sheen. I especially like the lavender blue for inner corners, because it gives you such a nice galaxy glow. They feel fairly creamy and last good.

Angled Eyeshadow Brush*

It has fun mint copper metallic handle and two toned bristles. The bristles are soft, but dense. This can be used as an eyeshadow brush, but I almost prefer so selectively apply highlighter with it. Especially on the nose or highest part of the cheeks. It picks up color well.

Essence Make Me Special Prismatic Lipstick Topper*

How fun is that? I didn't expect much from it, but it's so cute and actually works great. It's like a transparent lip balm base with lots of small glitter that reflects all sorts of colors. If you apply it bare on the skin, you can also notice light pink sheen to it, but barely there. This is such a fun product to apply over lipstick or stains. It doesn't feel gritty on the lips either, which was a surprise to me. But it makes your lips look like a galaxy and since I love glitter and sparkle, I love this. It's also surprisingly nourishing and balmy.

Mixa Micellar Water Anti-dryness Face & Eyes - Dry Skin

I got this based on Mateja's recommendation since she likes it a lot. I was in this place of not wanting to buy another bottle of Bioderma, because to be honest, it's expensive. But than again, it lasts me so long that I can justify buying it and I have bought a pack of two a while ago. Anyway, I tried this and it's not for me. I mostly use micellar water to get rid of eye makeup, because I have sensitive eyes and when I used this, my skin around the eyes became red. It's just not as gentle as Bioderma Sensibio, so I now use ti to get rid of my arm swatches or for the face. But nothing beats Bioderma for me.

L'Oreal Botanicals Fresh Care Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo

I got this one out of curiosity. It's apparently a more natural line by L'Oreal and also a lot more expensive than their regular shampoos. The thing that got me is the fact that it contains coconut oil. It also has lovely herbal scent with a slight hint of oriental and coconut. It's like nothing I have ever smelled. The texture is a bit more runny and it doesn't leather as much as normal shampoos, but it's descent. I find that this will be better for those with dry hair. I have oily roots and I feel like my roots get oilier quicker when I use this shampoo. You'll also definitely need some conditioner after you use this to comb through your hair.

Malinca Happy Cacao Mix*

I've never through of using cinnamon in a hot chocolate mix and I have to say I really like it. I mostly put cinnamon in anything that contains apple or cottage cheese. This is an ecologically made mix for hot cocoa. It contains criollo cocoa, ceylon cinnamon and coconut sugar. It's just sweet enough for my taste (I don't sweeten my teas, but like a bit of sweetness with cocoa) and has that delightful cocoa scent to it. Great mix for a lazy person on a cold day. You can get it here

Mateja got me another amazing gift. I thought she will only send me that one Bourjois lipstick color that she doesn't wear, but she got a me a lot more products to try out. Thank you.

Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask

Mateja loves this one and says that it's one of the best sheet masks she has tried so far. Also because of the fact that it plumps the skin and gets rid of fine lines. You can read her review here. I actually haven't tried it yet (don't look at me like that Mateja! :D), because I'm always saving good things for special occasions that never come. But I will definitely report back on the blog on this one.

She also got me a few of testers that I didn't try yet, but I am especially looking forward to trying that Royal Honey Cream. I've already had Etude House Sunprise sunscreen testers and this is a great lightweight formula with fresh scent.

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream

It has a light buttery consistency that blends into skin nice. At first the scent was a bit too strong for me, but as it wears off, it becomes really likable. It's that strong orientals scent that for some reason reminds me of cookies. Mateja explains it better here. It's a scented bomb for your body and the texture is nice.

The Body Shop Frosted Berry Body Butter

Another great lightweight body butter that has that berry yogurt scent to it. It's also lightly pink colored and I liked how it made my skin look. Good product, but I wouldn't pay the full price for it, because I'm cheap with my body butters.

Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel

It's a very light yellow tinted liquid and it has super runny formula. It feels like nothing on the skin. The scent is kind of fruity, but also weird in a way. It's not the most natural scent. I think the formula is worth it for those that hate greasy sunscreens and I would probably buy it, if it wasn't so runny. I'm afraid, I would spill most of the product and waste it. But it's especially nice for everyday use under the makeup. Mateja also has some other versions of this cream that you can compare here

The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2%

I believe retinoid is a milder version or retinol and I have to say this felt like nothing on the skin. It's lightweight yellow tinted liquid that didn't irritate my skin or create any kind of tingling sensation. At least now I know that this is almost a bit too mild for me and I can venture out for other formulations. I always feel like it's not working, if I don't feel anything.

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Mist

It reminds me of Victoria's Secret Body Mists and it has that kind of sweet, but almost vanilla like scent to it. Scent is definitely after my own taste and I feel like this would be great for summer, when you can't stand heavy perfumes. Lovely scent for all the sweet lovers. Again, Mateja has a more accurate description here

The Library Of Fragrance - Baby Powder

Love at first sniff. This is odd, but so good, proper baby powder scent. It's sweet and soothing at the same time. I've already put it on my wishlist, because it's so unique and I just love the coziness of it.

The Library Of Fragrance - Gingerbread

If you want to smell like gingerbread cookies, then you would love this. It's that stronger scent that instantly reminds you of Christmas. Almost a bit too strong for my taste, but once it wear off a bit, it's delightful. A great gift for anyone with a sweet tooth.

The Library Of Fragrance - Sunshine

To me this is another one of those sweet scents. It smells sweet, but also a bit soothing in way. Mateja describes it best - like hanging the laundry on a warm sunny day. It's not too strong, so this would be a fragrance to wear all year around.

I've already reviewed it, so you can read about it here. This is the best regular lipstick formula with proper matte finish and the fact that it doesn't feel drying is amazing. 06 Abrico'dabra is a medium warm peach shade that screams of summer.

Nivea Aloe & Hydration Body Lotion*

I got this cute package by Nivea and I'll actually post a separate review of this lotion, so I won't go into details. I love Nivea lotions and this one I like too. It has a creamy white formula that leaves nourishing bot non-greasy layer on your skin and it has lovely sweet herbal scent.

Nivea 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask*

It's one of those basic clay masks, but it also contains small particles that give you physical peeling on the skin. So basically you apply the mask on, let clay absorb impurities and while you're washing it off, you're also giving yourself a light scrub. Scrub is not too rough, but it's noticeable and I wouldn't advise to use it too much - maybe once a week. It comes in a practical squeeze tube that has small hole.

I immediately disliked this mask, because it burned my skin so bad that I had to wash it off. It might be alcohol denat's fault, as it's on the fourth place of ingredients list. It's definitely not for sensitive skin or for very dry skin. It might be more suited for oily and not sensitive skin.

Nivea Essentials Urban Skin Defence Day Cream and Night Cream*

Both of these are promoted as anti-oxidant creams with extracts of green tea and hyaluronic acid. I love green tea, so I was excited to try it out. But they just didn't work for my skin.

They both come in glass looking, but light pot with a plastic top. You can spot day cream by white colored top and night version has blue colored top. They both have very light almost gel like texture that is firm, but very easy to apply. It's also light green tinted.

At first if feels like you're adding a splash of water on your face, so lightweight. But both have alcohol denat high on the ingredients list and it feels like it makes the skin drier. I think this would be much more suited for oily skin. I also use retinol based products and those creams burned around my sensitive eye area, so I wouldn't advise to anyone with sensitive skin. I also couldn't find green extract anywhere in the ingredients list. The ingredients that are the most promoted are nowhere to be find on the ingredients list or are so low on the list that it doesn't make sense. I definitely won't use these anymore, because they didn't work with my skin.

With the package I also got this cute soft green bag with green earphones. It's such a cute thing to carry with you and they're actually fairly well made. Thoughtful gift.

Avon Care Gentle Moisture Hand, Nail & Cuticle Cream*

Since I got a more severe case of eczema, I don't really use regular perfumed hand creams, so I'm passing this one on. But I hear from others that apparently they like Avon creams. They feel moisturizing and not greasy. This one is in holiday packaging.

Avon Cranberry & Orange Bubble Bath*

Another holiday packaged product. I love Avon bubble baths, so I'll definitely use this up. It has a sweet proper citrus scent. It does smell like cranberries and oranges, very Christmasy.

Brush Cleaner*

This little egg is a great product, if you just use your palms for rubbing the brush in when you're washing it. It will save your hands and your time. I actually have one of these from Ebay and it's nice for cleaning small eye brushes. You pull it over your two fingers and brush away.

I already have a review of this sheet mask here. It's a good basic nourishing and plumping mask. I don't think this will give you any instant anti-aging effects, but it's great for all skin types for providing that nice nourishment.

Previously named miracle glow, but it comes in a holiday packaging. I actually already had one bottle of this and I have review here. It's a great very lightweight almost dry oil that makes the skin slightly more nourished and moisturized. It's one of those oils that will be for every skin, because it's so lightweight and has lovely grape scent.

Nuxe Gift Set

I actually already had two of these products - Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil and Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm. I gave hand cream to mom, because I don't use regular hand cream for my sensitive eczema skin. I am so happy that dry oil comes in a 50 ml version with a pump. Previously I had it without the pump. This is again one of those great dry feeling oils that makes your skin really soft and plump. I adore its nutty oriental fragrance that makes it even more fun to use.

Lip balm is ok, I'm not a fan of it as much as I see some others are. It's very thick and has a matte finish. I think this is a good option to apply under the lipstick, because it won't move it, but it's definitely not enough nourishing for someone with severely dry lips. It's more a skin barrier than an actual treatment.

Fumare Reed Diffuser Decemberrain

I love the classy black and gold design of this set. It contains reed diffuser, 3 tealights, 2 scented candles and 5 reed sticks. I haven't tried it yet, but the scent from the box smells classy and a bit citrus like - reminds me of Christmas.

H&M Pink Fluffy Key Chain

I still don't know what these fluffy key chains are called, but I have a few at home and I still want more. Now I practically have one for every bag. I got this cute muted pink one and I immediately like it. I usually go for black or white, but it's such a nice pop of color. I've been obsessing over muted pinks past year.

C&A Bath Robe

Believe it or not, I don't have a fluffy soft bath robe and I've had it on my wishlist for a while. This one by C&A is super fluffy and sooo soft. It also has that perfect color combo - pale grey with white stars and moon paired with pale pink details. It also has a hoodie. As soon as I wake up or in the evening when I get out of the shower I hop into this. It's one of those cozy things that makes your boring day life nicer.

Pink Throw Pillow

Continuing with the pale muddy pink theme...I also got this cute pink throw pillow. It has this cute graphic slightly darker design and cotton fabric. On the other side it's just pink without the design. So it's practically two in one.

Kvina also sent me super cute Christmas inspired package. I already ate all the sweets and drank some of those teas. Thank you Kvina.

H&M Clean Canvas Lip Scrub

I didn't even know H&M had a lip scrub. It comes in cute glass pot and smells absolutely divine. I need a fragrance with this scent. It smells very much like vanilla and brown sugar - divine. It's a thicker brown colored gel with sugar particles that scrub away your dead skin cells. I definitely need me some lip scrub, especially this time of year, and this one does the job plus leaves my skin slightly greasy and nourished.

NYX Lingerie Matte Eye Tint - Revel

When I saw it, I thought it was a lip product, until I read the packaging. It's a matte liquid eyeshadow and I have to admit, I haven't tried any matte version like this before. It's actually a really pretty neutral brown color, but leans more warm on my skin tone. You have a bit of play time to blend it out and it gives you a fair amount of color. I haven't used it enough to do a proper review, but I will definitely update you on the blog.

Avon Senses Citrus Zing Juicy Citrus & Mandarin Shower Gel

I've had a few of Avon shower gels and they always have fun scents. This is a typical gel like shower gel with sweet fresh citrus scent.

Balea Pflegecreme Für Dich - Cherry and Coconut Cream

Balea does lots of these small universal cream versions. This is one from December and apparently it smells of cherries and coconut. I haven't tried it yet, but the slim thin packaging looks fun and easy to carry with you in the bag.

Avon Planet Spa Heavenly Hydration With Mediterranean Olive Oil Lifting Neck & Chest Serum

I actually remember having this serum a long time ago. It was very liquid, transparent and felt a bit firming.  I haven't tried this one yet, because I have many other products that I use right now, but I will definitely try it out.

Terra Naturi Klärende Reinigungsmaske Weisser Ton - & Heilerde

A cleansing mask with white clay and healing soil. I rarely use these one time masks, because I have so many in the tube, but they are great to carry with you on short trips. It sounds like a good basic clay mask, so I'll definitely use it up.
