Chasing the last summer days

Hey Beauties!

I'm back! One week went by too fast. I spend one week on Slovenian coast (Portorož) with my boyfriend. It just doesn't feel like a summer to me, unless I go to the sea, for no matter how many days. Unfortunately, the summer has been lame this year, so a few sunny salty days were exactly what I needed.

First two days at the sea were rain, rain and sleep. We decided to go for a trip around the coastline and ended up going to see Piran and Strunjan. Piran is a beautiful old city, which you have to walk around if you're a tourist. Tourists are not allowed to go into the city with a car. The streets in Piran are very narrow and it immediately gives off a seaside vibe. We went to the church from where we had a spectacular view of the Piran. I also loved the fact that we stumbled upon a local artist, who was making a painting in his room, while the nearby tourists watched him at his work.

Some of the first days we also stayed in the room of our pretty hotel called Mirna. I liked the style of the room, with the lighting picture on top of the bed and a very soft bed. I also liked out bathroom, which had a big shower that made me feel like I was showering under the rain. Don't know why don't we have this at home?! Probably because the whole bathroom was flooded, when I used it. I guess, there was too much water coming out. Anyway, we even slept through the day, because why not?! I blame the soft bed.

I also decided that it would be fun to show you what makeup I took with me. My makeup was mostly the same every evening. A lot of bronzer, highlighter and eyeliner. Especially when I gained some of the sun tan, I needed bronzer to make my face match my body. The picture below is from the first days, so no tan, yet.

The sea was really cold in the beginning. Something around 21°Celsius, but later it got to 24°Celsius. I guess it was a nice temperature, because the sun was burning, so the water was a welcoming refreshment. Although, I admit I went in, swam a little and went out - too cold for me to stay in the sea for too long. We stayed on the pear and watched nearby sporty people try water sports. I have no idea what they are called. Under the pear was sand (unlike everywhere else, where it was sea grass) and the water there seemed really green. I was joking that we have Maldives under the pear. We also decided that we would do some pull ups under the pear, since we were eating a lot of good food and did no workout, besides the swimming.

One afternoon we also went to Koper, where we met one of my boyfriend's friend. We got this ice cream with toppings. I know in America they have such things and probably somewhere else too, but I've never seen this before. Of course, I had to get it. I choose one of the toppings that was apparently only for different kind of ice cream, but the girl still got me the two toppings I chose afterwards and added the one I chose firstly. Such a nice girl. She must have seen me as an overly excited puppy and couldn't say no to my big eyes :). The sunsets! Omg, aren't they just so more spectacular by the sea? I envy all of you who live by the sea. I would move there, for sure.

We also went to play mini golf, which was right across the street of our hotel. We actually went two times, because the first time it was so much fun. I loved it and wasn't all that bad, for a first timer. The second time we spiced up the rules and played with our eyes closed or watching each other, instead of the ball. Surprisingly, it went better for both of us. Weird, I know.

It was short, but sweet. Hope you liked this kind of post ;).
